This RRP Guest Lecture Series (No. 29), held on 7 August 2025, featured Mr. Yohan Lawrence, Secretary General of JAAF, Mr. Manoj Udugampola, Director of Damro Group and Agalawatte Plantations, and Prof. Sirimal Abeyratne, Executive Director of CEPA, as resource persons. Titled “The Vulnerable Export Market in Sri Lanka: To What Extent Do Tariffs Make a Difference?” the session examined the role of tariffs in shaping Sri Lanka’s export competitiveness and discussed the vulnerabilities of the export sector within a changing global trade environment.
