Training and Capacity Building

Our Training and Capacity Building arm offers versatile staff training opportunities for many organizations. We believe that consistent and relevant staff training is a crucial reality. We offer sustained programs of training with the objectives of increasing individual capacity building for research, motivation for support staff, specific training and learning programs for researchers, and short courses for the public.

Research, Reflection, and Practices

This is an initiative by the Training and Capacity Building arm to impart skills and knowledge for motivated staff. We cultivate a culture of reflection among staff through interactive forums chaired by experts.

RQLs

RQL team was established in 2015. The team worked towards the following objectives:

Support CEPA to develop appropriate RQ standards, which are periodically reviewed and revised to ensure relevance
Support research staff through the research cycle and provide input and feedback on all research activities and outputs
Promote and facilitate systematic synthesis of learning, relating to both research content and methodology
Consolidate CEPA’s tracking RQL processes and to facilitate monitoring and reporting of CEPA’s research as well as its quality.
