Our experience has straddled several sectors and thematic areas in the area of assessments. They are: resettlement, conflict, infrastructure (roads, energy, water, sanitation), plantations, children’s issues, and youth. Poverty, gender, and environmental analyses are always mainstreamed into our engagements. We have used our expertise to assist clients to design programs, to prioritize pro-poor interventions, to construct monitoring systems, conduct in-process monitoring and independent external evaluations, and to develop organizational capacity in project design, monitoring, and evaluation.

Over the years our established expertise in qualitative research has been complemented by increased capacity for quantitative analysis, and the ability to conduct relatively large surveys. Our keen interest in the Q2 (or Q squared) approach, which blends qualitative and quantitative methods in complementary modes, supports cutting edge use of research methodology. We have also developed a capacity to moderate discussion, to facilitate dialogue among diverse stakeholders and to engage in knowledge management.
