Kalara Perera holds a LLB Honours from the University of London and a BA Honours Degree in International Relations from the University of Colombo and is currently reading for her Masters in International Human Rights Law from Birmingham City University.

Areas of Interest: Interdisciplinary research and advocating for human rights. She has published on gender, human rights, refugees, surveillance and international law.
