This RRP session, held in October 2022, was conducted by Prof. Sasanka Perera of the South Asian University, New Delhi, who is also a subscribing member of CEPA. Titled “Social Research Beyond Statistics and Quantification: Thoughts on Archives and Historical Sources,” the session explored alternative approaches to social research, with particular emphasis on the use of archives and historical sources beyond quantitative and statistical methods.
