Mr. Luxman Siriwardena

Director

Mr. Luxman Siriwardena is a seasoned economic development professional with over 40 years of experience in policy formulation, investment promotion, infrastructure development, and international economic cooperation. He previously served as Executive Director of the The Pathfinder Foundation, where he played a leading role in advancing policy research and private sector development initiatives.

Throughout his career, he has held senior positions across public service, private sector, and international institutions, including advisory roles to the Ministry of Policy Development and Implementation, Research Economist at Australia’s Productivity Commission, and leadership positions in investment and economic reform. He has extensive experience in public–private partnerships (PPPs), trade facilitation, and promoting foreign direct investment.

Mr. Siriwardena holds a Master’s degree in Economic Development from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts (Second Class Honours) from the University of Sri Lanka, Peradeniya. He is a recipient of the prestigious Fulbright Fellowship and the European Union Distinguished Visitor Programme, recognizing his contributions to economic and social development.
