Malaka Gayashan holds a BA (Honours) in Economics, with minoring International Relations and Geography, from the University of Colombo. Also, he earned a Diploma in Human Rights Education and Practices (with Distinction pass) from CAPSOISL. He has prior academic and empirical experience on Health Financing & Household Surveys. He has publications on applied economics and legal accountability for crime victims. His methodological focus on Mixed -Method approach. He is currently attached to the Basic Services and Social Protection Thematic.
