Job Description
The Centre for Poverty Analysis (CEPA) invited applications from qualified candidates for the position of Senior Research Officer. The successful candidate was expected to contribute to policy research, stakeholder engagement, project management, and dissemination of research findings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support research projects related to social policy and poverty reduction.
- Design research methodologies and analytical frameworks.
- Conduct data analysis and interpretation.
- Prepare policy briefs, reports, and publications.
- Facilitate stakeholder consultations and workshops.
- Mentor junior research staff and research assistants.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, Sociology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of research experience.
- Strong report writing and presentation skills.
- Experience working with government agencies, NGOs, or international development partners.
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
