Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to support our research and policy initiatives. The successful candidate will assist with data collection, literature reviews, report writing, and stakeholder engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze datasets.
  • Assist in preparing research reports and policy briefs.
  • Support project teams with fieldwork and stakeholder consultations.
  • Monitor economic, social, and policy developments.
  • Maintain research documentation and records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in research projects or policy analysis.
  • Knowledge of SPSS, STATA, R, or similar statistical software.
  • Experience working with NGOs, think tanks, or development organizations.
