CEPA hosted the seminar “Economic Outlook for Sri Lanka in 2026”, which also marked the launch of the Sinhala and Tamil translations of Sustaining Transformative Growth in Sri Lanka, 2025–2030. In partnership with ODI Global and in collaboration with the World Bank Group, the seminar highlighted key priorities for sustainable economic development, including macroeconomic stability, export growth, investment promotion, institutional strengthening, and poverty reduction.
The seminar brought together policymakers, researchers, and practitioners for a discussion on Sri Lanka’s current economic context and outlook, with reflections on recent developments and the challenges that remain. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, encouraging dialogue and exchange among participants.
