The conference, held on 5th February at Hilton, Colombo, featured two sessions examining the changing nature of poverty and vulnerability in Sri Lanka, the impact of the economic crisis on education and health, the effectiveness of the Aswesuma welfare programme in addressing inclusion and exclusion challenges, and the hidden dimensions of poverty that are often overlooked by conventional measures on energy, poverty and household vulnerability.
