Prof. Jeevika Weerahewa holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from University of Guelph, Canada and is affiliated to the Department of Agricultural Economics and Business Management, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka as a Senior Professor. She currently serves as a consultant to CEPA and leads the division of Basic Services and Social Protection. Her research focuses on food systems, agricultural markets, rural livelihoods, poverty and malnutrition, and assessment of economic impacts of public policies and programs.
