About Me

Elliott Broidy is an entrepreneur who has used his extensive experience and talent to found, invest, and in some cases, manage as CEO, more than 160 companies over his four-decade career. Since 2014, he has focused on technology businesses (including, more recently, AI) in the defense intelligence, homeland security, public safety, and law enforcement sectors. He is the Chairman and CEO of Broidy Capital Holdings, LLC, founded in 2022 in Boca Raton, FL, and its predecessor, Broidy Capital Management, headquartered in Los Angeles from 1991 to 2022. Mr. Broidy is the founder and Managing Partner of Threat Deterrence Capital Holdings, LLC and LEO Technologies Holdings, LLC.

Elliott Broidy’s commitment to public safety and the security of the United States and its allies has shaped his career and philanthropy. After 9/11, he became involved in political fundraising and policy advocacy, supporting leaders who prioritized security for the U.S., peace around the world, and the safety of Israel. In 2002, Mr. Broidy joined the Republican Jewish Coalition and, between 2002 and 2004, was the fourth-largest fundraiser for the Bush-Cheney 2004 campaign. From 2002 to 2009, he served on the board of the Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension Fund. In 2003, when Mr. Broidy recognized that Israel was being threatened by a dramatic reduction in foreign direct investment due to the Second Intifada, he founded Markstone Capital Partners, LLC. The $800 million fund invested almost entirely in non-high-tech companies in Israel.

From 2004 to 2008, Elliott Broidy was the largest fundraiser for the Republican National Committee (RNC). From 2006 to 2008, he was the RNC Finance Chairman. He served on the United States Homeland Security Advisory Council from 2006 to 2009, including its Future of Terrorism Task Force, and as a Trustee of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts from 2006-2009. From 2016 to 2017, he was the Deputy National Finance Chair of the RNC, Vice Chairman, Finance of the Trump Victory Campaign, and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Inaugural Committee.

Mr. Broidy has dedicated many hours over the years to combating antisemitism. He served on the Simon Wiesenthal Center-Museum of Tolerance board for eight years and has donated to over 100 Jewish organizations, including Stand With Us, The Jewish Agency for Israel, AIPAC, Friends of the IDF, and Magen David Adom. His philanthropy includes support for prominent counterterrorism think tanks, including the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and the Hudson Institute.

Following the October 7th attacks on Israel, Mr. Broidy and his wife, Robin, intensified their support for initiatives combating antisemitism and extremism through their involvement with The Counter Extremism Project and legal efforts aimed at reducing antisemitism on U.S. campuses and elsewhere.

Their philanthropy also extends to their community. The Broidys are significant donors to Boca Regional Hospital, The Cleveland Clinic in Weston, FL, the Boca West Children’s Foundation, and the Adolph and Rose Levis Jewish Community Center.

When Mr. Broidy is not working, which is rare, he mentors many young people trying to figure out their next moves, including which university or graduate school to attend, which industry to start in, and how to get ahead in their chosen profession. Like many, he has recently decided to focus on his health by working out at the gym and walking for miles daily. His longtime hobbies include collecting single malt scotch, fine watches, and cigars.

Mr. Broidy and his wife have three children and three grandchildren, and his favorite thing to do is spend time with them.
